What People are Saying:

“The client customer service is the best I have ever experienced!”

– Brooks Kine

Do you require a Prescription/referral?

Arthritis & Injury Care Centre does not require a referral/prescription from a Health Professional to see one of our Brace Specialists, Pedorthist, Podiatrist, or Dietitian. In some cases, with Private Health Insurance, a referral/prescription is helpful to our staff to give the best medical advice.

Most Private Health Insurances do require a medical prescription/referral from a Medical Physician for reimbursement purposes. Since Arthritis & Injury Care Centre is a private company, complete or part services and product costs are often covered under most insurance plans.

Finding out about Insurance coverage details:

Arthritis and Injury Care Centre will bill directly all insurance companies and policies that allow for this service. If allowed this service, we will get the proper information to send to the insurance company. Some insurances require a co-payment or percentage paid first.

If after the Insurance company has been contacted and your plan does not allow for direct billing we will walk you through the process completely to receive the reimbursement.  We are there step by step even after you leave your appointment!

With many Private Health Insurances, they require more information than asked on the phone and is necessary to submit an estimate or quote in first.  These insurance companies need a copy of the prescription, with details of the diagnosis, and a quote including the details of what is needed.

Arthritis & Injury Care Centre offers our services in gathering all our patient’s details and process the estimate/quote to send to insurance at no cost! Depending on the insurance company, many require the paperwork to be mailed in. Once the insurance company has processed the estimate/quote they will mail a detailed letter to you, as the patient, or they will get in contact directly with you to inform you of your coverage details.

“We tried several different products until we found the “one”. Thanks for the advice.”

– Daniel Solano

Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) or Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA):

Dealing with Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) or dealing with a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) can be a challenge to understand especially while you are dealing with pain or an injury.  We offer a free consultation to find out which medical equipment is needed.  We will personally contact your caseworker to inquire about coverage and, if approval is needed, we will take the necessary steps to work with your caseworker.

Podiatry and Dietitian Services:

Both Podiatry and Dietitian services have costs associated with initial and subsequent treatments.  Most Private Health insurances cover a portion or the full amount of these treatments.

Another service we offer is Orthopedic consultations which are coverage by MSI/Medicare.  If a patient needs to see one of our Orthopedic Consultant, then a medical referral would be required by a physician. This allows for them to see the appropriate specialist at the appropriate time, which can also help to reduce wait times.
